Our History

The Rienz Residence has a long tradition. Opened in 1982 by the family Walch - Fischnaller became immediately a popular holiday destination, appreciated by many families who choose to spend their holidays in South Tyrol. With the passing of the time the guests have become friends and the holidays have become happy moments where to meet the old friends again.

Fischnaller Giovanna, the owner, still furnishes, with Tyrolean Alpine style and taste, each room of the Rience Residence: the apartments, the living room and the garden, and welcoming with her smile all the guests who choose to spend a relaxing stay in Puster Valley.

The symbol of Ehrenburg, the town where the residence is located, is the impressive baroque castle of the seventeenth century, former residence of the Counts of Künigl. On the hill of the castle is also the  church of Ehrenburg, who is especially known for the image of the Madonna del Grano. The church was rebuilt during the fourteenth century in baroque style.
